Our GuardFlow Copper Water Filtration System is built for wells and city water in areas with heavy farming or industry, where water quality can vary. Its carbon block core keeps water in contact with the filter longer, for more consistent reductions of chlorine, chloramine, fluoride, glyphosate, nitrates, and more, with no electricity or plumbing needed. For city water with generally good quality, our EverFlow system offers faster flow.

How the GuardFlow filters work
Each filter pairs a silver-infused ceramic shell, which traps fine sediment and cloudiness, with a dense carbon block core. Because water has to pass through the carbon block wall, it stays in contact with the filter longer, giving more consistent results than our granular Everflow filters. Tested to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53, and 401, they reduce:
- Chlorine: more than 99%
- Chloramine: more than 99%
- Lead: more than 99%
- Pharmaceuticals: more than 99%
- PFOA and PFOS: more than 99%
- Microplastics: more than 99%
- Heavy metals: more than 98%
- VOCs: more than 98%
- Trihalomethanes (THMs): more than 98%
- Glyphosate: more than 98%
- Pesticides and herbicides: more than 98%
- PFAS: more than 95%
- Radionuclides: more than 94%
- Nitrates: more than 92%
- Fluoride, including all common types added to tap water: more than 92%
The filters also reduce aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, mercury, nickel, and zinc.
The carbon block filters more slowly than our EverFlow filters. Replace filters at their rated capacity or once a year. Between replacements, scrub the ceramic to restore flow. Made in the USA for Sertodo.
Made to last for generations
The hourglass tower is TIG-welded, hand-spun, and hand-hammered from heavy-gauge solid copper in Michoacán, Mexico, and we guarantee our workmanship for life. Storing water in copper is a practice that goes back thousands of years and is still part of the Ayurvedic tradition today. A stainless steel spigot is included in each kit.

- GuardFlow Citadel filters: 2.75" x 7", filters up to 800 gallons each; fits up to 2
- Ceramic shell: 0.5 micron absolute, with more than 99.9% efficiency at 0.2 micron. No activated alumina!
- Certification: Filter materials certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 material requirements.
Good to know: Fill the top chamber only with as much water as the bottom has room for, or consider adding our Sight Tube Spigot. Save 10% on extra filters bought with your system.

STOCK PRODUCTS - Stock products at UncommonWares are carefully curated and often in limited quantities. If you're lucky enough to grab some UW goods before they sell out, we feel certain you will enjoy your purchases. If for whatever reason stock items purchased need to be returned, please be sure it's in new, unused condition, in its original packaging and returned to the store within 15 days of purchase. Online Orders: Shipping charges are non-refundable and any return shipping cost incurred will not be reimbursed unless the product arrived damaged or incorrect product was sent. NOTE: Only stock, non-custom/non-personalized products can be returned.
CUSTOM PRODUCTS - UncommonWares custom products are created as ordered, therefore, all personalized/custom product sales are final. It is rare, but if your item arrives damaged or is defective, it must be reported within 10 business days for replacement. Simply email 4service@uncommonwares.com with a photo of the damage and any details about your order so we can efficiently process your replacement.
Please note that as a result of different textures and finishes colors will vary on products whether digitally imprinted or dyed. Products from separate dye lots may result in color shift. We always recommend coordinating instead of matching. In addition, what is shown on your screen may vary from your finished product. Slight color shifts are not considered defective and therefore cannot be returned nor replaced.
