The Incrediball® Hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens 'Abetwo') is a supersized improvement on the beloved 'Annabelle' smooth hydrangea. From summer into fall it produces giant rounded blooms that open soft green, mature to clean pure white, and fade to an antique green you can leave standing for late-season interest. The flowers ride on notably stronger stems than older smooth hydrangeas, so the show stays upright instead of sprawling. With a rounded 4 to 5 foot habit and bright green foliage, it reads as a lush, dependable anchor in the landscape from June through the first frosts.
Why growers choose the Incrediball® Hydrangea
- Enormous blooms. Flower heads can reach the size of a basketball, far larger than the classic 'Annabelle' they were bred from.
- Stems that stand up. Thick, rigid stems were the whole point of this selection, so the heavy heads resist flopping even after rain or wind.
- Reliable color, no fuss. Blooms shift green to white to soft chartreuse on their own — smooth hydrangeas don't change with soil pH, so the white is consistent every year.
- Genuinely cold-hardy. Rated for zones 3 to 8, it shrugs off harsh winters that would damage bigleaf types.
- Dependable bloomer. Because it flowers on new wood, a late frost won't cost you the season's show the way it can with old-wood hydrangeas.
Use it as a foundation planting, a flowering hedge along a walk or property line, or the backbone of a mixed border. The big white globes are excellent for fresh or dried cutting, and they brighten part-shade spots where other shrubs sulk.

STOCK PRODUCTS - Stock products at UncommonWares are carefully curated and often in limited quantities. If you're lucky enough to grab some UW goods before they sell out, we feel certain you will enjoy your purchases. If for whatever reason stock items purchased need to be returned, please be sure it's in new, unused condition, in its original packaging and returned to the store within 15 days of purchase. Online Orders: Shipping charges are non-refundable and any return shipping cost incurred will not be reimbursed unless the product arrived damaged or incorrect product was sent. NOTE: Only stock, non-custom/non-personalized products can be returned.
CUSTOM PRODUCTS - UncommonWares custom products are created as ordered, therefore, all personalized/custom product sales are final. It is rare, but if your item arrives damaged or is defective, it must be reported within 10 business days for replacement. Simply email 4service@uncommonwares.com with a photo of the damage and any details about your order so we can efficiently process your replacement.
Please note that as a result of different textures and finishes colors will vary on products whether digitally imprinted or dyed. Products from separate dye lots may result in color shift. We always recommend coordinating instead of matching. In addition, what is shown on your screen may vary from your finished product. Slight color shifts are not considered defective and therefore cannot be returned nor replaced.
