The Bonanza (Prunus persica 'Bonanza') is a true miniature peach, bred to stay naturally compact without aggressive pruning while still ripening juicy, yellow-fleshed peaches with the rich, honeyed flavor you expect from a backyard tree. In spring it covers itself in showy, deep-pink double blossoms that look more like an ornamental flowering peach than a fruit tree, then settles into a tidy, rounded canopy that earns its place on a patio or in a small yard. It is the rare fruit tree that pulls double duty as a landscape specimen and a real harvest.
Why growers choose the Bonanza
- Genetically dwarf, no dwarfing rootstock tricks. It naturally matures at just 4 to 6 ft. tall and wide, so it fits a large container or a tight bed and stays in reach for picking.
- Full-size, freestone fruit. Despite the small frame, the peaches are normal-sized with sweet yellow flesh that separates cleanly from the pit for easy eating, slicing, and canning.
- Self-fertile. A single tree sets fruit on its own, so you do not need to find room for a second peach.
- Ornamental in bloom. Frilly double pink flowers in spring make it a focal point well before the fruit arrives.
- Container-friendly and hardy. Thrives in zones 6 to 9 outdoors and grows happily in a large pot on a deck or patio.

STOCK PRODUCTS - Stock products at UncommonWares are carefully curated and often in limited quantities. If you're lucky enough to grab some UW goods before they sell out, we feel certain you will enjoy your purchases. If for whatever reason stock items purchased need to be returned, please be sure it's in new, unused condition, in its original packaging and returned to the store within 15 days of purchase. Online Orders: Shipping charges are non-refundable and any return shipping cost incurred will not be reimbursed unless the product arrived damaged or incorrect product was sent. NOTE: Only stock, non-custom/non-personalized products can be returned.
CUSTOM PRODUCTS - UncommonWares custom products are created as ordered, therefore, all personalized/custom product sales are final. It is rare, but if your item arrives damaged or is defective, it must be reported within 10 business days for replacement. Simply email 4service@uncommonwares.com with a photo of the damage and any details about your order so we can efficiently process your replacement.
Please note that as a result of different textures and finishes colors will vary on products whether digitally imprinted or dyed. Products from separate dye lots may result in color shift. We always recommend coordinating instead of matching. In addition, what is shown on your screen may vary from your finished product. Slight color shifts are not considered defective and therefore cannot be returned nor replaced.
